- Bite block has two silicone valves to help reduce backflow from patient’s breath. Rondex does not use filters. Tests have shown FILTERS not to be effective. (The Journal of Emergency Medicine, Vol 9 1991)
- Short bite block allows to be used on children. (Cardiac arrest in children is commonly caused by oxygen depletion making ventilation a must during CPR.)
- Bite block positions shield for easy ventilations and keeps the patient’s mouth open during head tilt/chin lift.

- CONSTRUCTION
One design consideration of the RONDEX CPR ISO-SHIELD is how the barrier material is attached to the valve housing.
RONDEX does not use heat on the barrier material. Some competitors heat the barrier material to join it to the valve housing. This can result in a weak joint which can result in the separation of the two parts.
RONDEX compresses the barrier between two plastic surfaces which eliminates the need for heating of the barrier material. - FREE SHIPPING
